Like always: A mixed breakfast

Our breakfast is 99 percent raw except for a few days when we run out of fruits because it's the fifth or sixth day after marketing. Today is one of those days when we had a boiled then sauteed baby potatoes. But first we had a glass of banana (not in the picture) each after a walk with our two fur-friends, Perci and Meegnu. It's a 7 inches in diameter plate and it's for two people! This is quite a very simple recipe. ~Baby potatoes, par-boiled, cooled in running cold water, peeled (skin kept aside), and halved (the bigger ones). ~Heated ample amount of mustard oil (tastes better in mustard oil) and fry baby potatoes in medium flame until they become brown. ~Sprinkle salt. ~When brown add potato skin and red chili powder, mix and saute' for about 2-3 minutes. ~Serve. Colorful foods of nature

Our pantry doesn't look good empty so we fill it with various colorful vegetables and fruits. Many of these items will last for five to seven days. Some like the pumpkin would last a week depending on whether we get visitors -our cow friends. My husband and I are not big consumers of pumpkins. No. The main reason we take them is the seeds. Yes. Pumpkin seeds. Of course, it's local and the price is reasonable so that is a big bonus. But it all goes back to the seeds. What do we do with seeds, you may ask. Well, after washing we dry them under the sun. Once dry enough I dry-fry them. Once cool, we eat them. Yum!
